Losing & Rediscovering Yourself after Motherhood
Description: Join us for an interactive discussion led by Jenn Abbatiello who will address many aspects of mother/parenthood,
including surprises with the transition to motherhood, integrating your new family/work lives, and how to find your new rhythm when returning to work
Speaker: Jenn Abbatiello
Speaker Bio: A message from Jenn- "I am Jenn, The Cycle Breaker & Founder of Your Transformed Family Becoming a mother rocked my world. I felt lost. I knew myself as the high-achiever, corporate executive that I could achieve whatever I set my mind to. Heck I overcame cancer in my 20s, got pregnant in my mid-thirties despite having PCOS. I could do anything, right? Queue motherhood and feeling like a failure. I went back to work a shadow of myself. I didn’t have the same passion for the work I was doing. I didn’t understand how other mothers looked like they had it all together. Why was I raging alongside my now toddler’s tantrums? I would go to bed revisiting all my mistakes and how I should have handled them differently. I struggled to break the cycle of yelling, exhaustion, overwhelm and feeling like a failure. It was when I learned 3 critical things I needed to do differently that everything changed. My relationship with my boys and my husband thrived. I finally found joy, confidence and calm in my parenting AND life. This is why I am committed to helping other mom’s break cycles of guilt, anger and shame. You can be the parent you want to be, regardless of how you were parented"
