Put on your workout clothing and bring your yoga mat for a pelvic floor breathing workshop lead by NTM alumni Sara Gledhill.
Sara graduated from McMaster University in 1998 with a degree in Health Science and Physiotherapy. She began her career using her orthopaedic manual therapy skills to treat elite athletes, weekend warriors, motor vehicle accident victims and post-operative patients. Struggling with musculoskeletal and bladder issues after the birth of her children, Sara sought treatment from a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist. This treatment was life-changing and resulted in significant improvements after only a few sessions. Shortly thereafter, Sara completed her Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy levels and started treating women to help them return to fitness after pregnancy and injury. She uses a variety of hands-on myofascial releasing methods, core strengthening, functional retraining and sport-specific rehabilitation. In the intervening years, Sara has completed many post-graduate courses in Orthopaedics and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. When not treating her patients, Sara keeps busy with her two teenage boys and actively participates in running, skiing, golfing, cycling and Pilates.
