Theresa hosts Food Network Canada's popular show Just One Bite: a daily television show where she teaches parents to feed their kids better while not giving up on their own plate. She also wrote and published her best selling cookbook: Cook Once a Week, Eat Well Every Day. October 12 Robin Hellendoorn, Toronto Therapy Center Toronto Couples Therapy is always one of our most popular speakers. Robin Hellendoorn will talk to us about communicating with our partners and tackle some of our relationship questions. October 19 Starbucks Barista: Tanis Learn about all things coffee and how to make an award winning Cup 'a Joe at home October 26 Lesley Belows R.N. BSc.N, Public Health Nurse & Sexual Health Educator Sexuality and your Family. We will be joined by a Toronto Public Health nurse who specializes in all issues dealing with sexuality in your family; healthy relationships, raising sexually healthy children and promoting a healthy and safe attitude to sex. Lesley will be sharing techniques about how and when to speak to our children about sexuality. Be sure to ask tons of questions. November 2 Caryle Jansen, Good For Her Caryle believes that there is nothing shameful about an open, honest dialogue about sex and sexuality, and that everyone deserves to explore their own sexuality in a safe and comfortable environment. She runs informative seminars about sexuality as well as running her fabulous store in downtown Toronto. November 9 Mastermind Toys They have been coming to us for years to highlight the years best toys! There is always a big turn out for this speaker and there is usually a coveted coupon just in time for the holiday season! November 16 Andrea Gilbert Clark Andrea will guide us though the confusing and often misleading Nutritional Label. She will help us understand the Canadian guidelines for labeling and highlight some of the widely misunderstood terms on food packaging. November 23 Amy Stoddart, Say-She-Ate Amy trained as a chef at George Brown College and has ten years experience in the industry. Amy now owns and operates her own company, Say-She-Ate, which specializes in nutritious, gourmet meals prepared and delivered to her clients' homes. Amy will talk to us about preparing for the holiday entertaining season and will share a few secrets of party planning, creating simple but sensational food and presentation that will wow your guests. She will also share secrets to improve day time naps.
